Ratman on DVD!

Nelson de la Rosa and the Red Sox-good times!

Just in time for Red Sox opening day!! Xploited Cinema now has the anamorphic widescreen release of the 80's Eurotrash classic RATMAN in stock! Nelson de la Rosa, the dimunitive denizen of the Dominican will delight you with his touching man/monster turn. Eva Grimaldi will shower and shower and run from the Ratman. David Warbeck will attempt to hypnotize you into thinking he is not there! And not only do you get them doing their best to sell you on the monster that hides in the toilet, but Janet Agren and Tough To Kill fave Werner Pochath are also in the cast of characters.
One of my favorite things about this film is that it bears all the hallmarks of being written by Dardano Sacchetti and Elisa Briganti-an abundance of goofy characters and lots of trashy horror setpieces move along the running time with ease. Director Giuliano Carnimeo is best know to Spaghetti Western fans as "Anthony Ascott" and post nuke historians will also recall him as "Jules Harrison" of Exterminators Of The Year 3000 infamy. What a career-and Ratman, while not exactly the culmination of all that experience, is a great bit of 80's horror served with extra pasta.
