And The World Shall Shudder.... THE HEAP returns with THE HEAT

Last year I posted a few Golden Age tales of THE HEAP (here and again here )-with the warm weather I sink back into the bog with this Skywald tale. This is actually a later tale from the Black and White magazines-but I have a soggy spot in my heart for it. Sadly, I don't have the second part to share!! If you have THE HEAP:WHEN DIES A LUNATIC... SO DIES A HEAP I'm officially jealous. Enjoy! Click the little thumbs to make them into full sized gore splattered heaps of comic goodness. Story by the great Al Hewetson and art by Villanova.

Spanish Power...MAN! Luke Cage Goes International

If you ask me who the baddest of Marvel's bronze age is, I would have to go with Luke Cage. The version of the character currently running around the Marvel Universe doesn't do much for me, but with the announcement of Power Man and Iron Fist getting the Essentials treatment (and continuing the essential Luke Cage) I figure it is time for a little Power Man share. Here are some Spanish Edition covers by Lopez Espi. You can check out more on Espi at his fan site here. Some unique spins on classic characters.

SWEET CHRISTMAS...lots more Cage reprints coming at us!
