I was watching the recent concert DVD released by Skinny Puppy, The Greater Wrong Of The Right, and was really pleased to find 2 clips from the very first time I heard the band in 1986. I saw them live at the 9:30 Club in Washington DC and I'm still listening to them 23 years later! This show made an impression. First up is ASSIMILATE and that is followed by the opening of the show (which has Ohgr wrestling around in a plastic bag-I still remember that vividly). The joy of YouTube...
Of all the shows I've attended, this may have been the most important and intense experience I've had musically.
