Christina Lindberg goes to Munich!

In another one of those European Trash Cinema Synergy moments, I viewed Christina Lindberg's scenes from the Walter Boos film Madchen, di nach Munchen kommen / Sex At The Olympics and realized two things.  Christina Lindberg is always beautiful  regardless of the situation of the film she appears in and that Walter Boos and the producers of this film owe me a pair of pants. The ones I was wearing are showing severe wear around the zipper region due to "pneumatic stress syndrome" because I viewed Sex At The Olympics without proper preparation.  I should know better, but a warning might have been nice.
So, I watch this film and find that Lon Huber has posted some AMAZING scans from Continental Film Review on his site, The Old Dark Arthouse.  At the top of this post is the pages related to this film.  What follows is my "lets take a screencap of Christina" session that spiraled out of control!
Well, you can never have enough Christina Lindberg...enjoy!  Click for bigger scans of course, and thanks again to Lon for these scans, go to his blog and poke around the newstand. Just bring a lunchbox and a few extra wet naps!

Even more old graphics in the new New Year!

Yes indeed..there is Lina Romay...again!  Part 2 of my decade of recovered images has begun. If you missed Part 1, you can start there.  The above was done for GASP ETC. some time back and the article is also on this blog.
Then we have 3 images for Bruce Holecheck. He has started his blogging adventures, but years ago he came to me with the name CINEMUCK. This is what I made of it.

I've also done a good number of images for The Eurotrash Paradise, a group started by Bob "Videooze" Sargent and Neil "Sifu of all things artistic" Vokes.  The Gravy Sweats one...ya had to be there.

And then there was another CineXtremist column that went unpublished...

And here is the Australian Tour Edition signature sheet for TOUGH TO KILL.  These are the only books that actually have both Paul and I signing them. I don't even have one!

And here are some GREAT early graphics by Vince Corkadel!

And finally, the "web serial" that never happened those many moons ago, THE MAGNIFICENT SHADOW FIGHTERS.  The art here is from the pitch for Indie Gods Publications.  Art by Cristian Alaminos-it never happened due to some scheduling problems-though I would still LOVE to do this story and dedicate it to old school Tomb of DVD icon, Sifu Linn Haynes.  He loved the pitch that had a team of relentless video hunters operating out of a shop owned by a real life crew of ninja.  Ah...someday.

Old Graphics, New Year!

With the new year upon us I decided to clean up some old drives and post a bit of my own personal web history so that it gets archived in my little blogspot.  I'll add to them as I find various items to my saved folders.  Since starting the "Tomb of DVD" column in 1999 for Sight and Sound (the Laserdisc shop) I've made some interesting, awful, gruesome and downright crude images.  I think I've been getting better over the years, but they certainly capture why I've been hacking at these pages for over 10 years now!  Uh..enjoy some, laugh at others and this is a nice way to see what images OBSESS me. Lina Romay's perfect backside from The Female Vampire anyone??

Here are some Morpho's Lair entry pages, a few graphics for a column I penned for DOORWAYS magazine called The Cinextremist, a little graphic for Comix That Witness Madness, the graphics for Linn Haynes "Cave of Kung Fu" site we set up in 2002 (if memory serves), some t-shirts (there are actually 2 shirts of OTHELLO THE BLACK COMMANDO in existence!) and a bunch of intro page graphics for Cinema Nocturna that I enjoyed working on.  Also, click the Ninja Mission graphic for an old "tour shirt" of Morpho's Lair. Some amazing folks on there.
ONWARD to new writing and hopefully better graphics!!

Here is an ancient (and probably first!) entrance graphic when Tomb of DVD just served as a pointer back to Sight and Sound.

The above was created by Vince Corkadel, one of my earliest inspirations...I love it.  Still do...
